Front wheels with a flat tire in the rendition designated as type 2. It differs from the first variant of the same range in the form of the wheel, so a builder can choose the shape matching his own subject.
Trucks built in large series took tires from several suppliers and the tread pattern differed according to the maker and the period. In the field the wheels were besides swapped for whatever was available, so it is nothing unusual to see even different tires on one vehicle. For a modeler that means the choice is not tied to a single correct solution but should rest on a photograph.
For builders of rear-area and supply equipment who want a vehicle in motion or with a breakdown, and for makers of scenes where a truck has a story of its own.
The tires of trucks often had a pattern with marked directional structure, which is mirrored on the two sides of the vehicle. When fitting the wheels it therefore pays to check which way the tread points, or one side of the vehicle will look reversed.
