Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German streamlined bus Opel Blitzbus Ludewig Aero in 1:35 scale from the maker Roden. The model captures the elegant interwar bus with a streamlined body built on the chassis of the Opel Blitz truck.
The Blitzbus Aero came into being in the 1930s at the coachbuilding works of the Ludewig brothers on the chassis of the well-known three-ton Opel Blitz truck. It stood out for its streamlined body and served as an express intercity bus and for representative purposes. After the outbreak of the Second World War at least one such vehicle was requisitioned by the army and fielded on the Eastern Front for transporting officers.
Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Assemble and paint the glazing and the interior before you close the body up. Apply a primer before painting; the smooth surfaces of the streamlined body will give away every unevenness, so sand the gaps carefully and paint with an airbrush in thin coats. Both a glossy civilian color and a military overspray can be finished with fine patina according to your choice.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
