A kit of a variant of the OT-64 carrier, which the manufacturer pins down in the name as A2 with the addition VB, in 1:35 scale. The OT-64 family is rich in versions, and it is precisely the suffixes in the designation that tell the individual forms apart. The contents of the package, the material and the number of parts are stated on the box of the kit.
The hull of the OT-64 is welded from thick plates with a sloped front, with hatches in the sides for the squad to dismount and twin doors at the rear. When moving through water a trim vane folded down ahead of the front helped, and propellers provided the drive, so the vehicle needed no preparation to swim. The individual versions differed in their superstructure, their equipment and in what they carried on the roof, and the differences between them are usually slight at first glance but important to a collector.
A two-color or three-color camouflage on a large hull calls for a thought-out order: first the lighter base, only then the darker fields. Transitions sprayed freehand with an airbrush look more faithful than sharp masked edges, and when the boundary is softened, small inaccuracies disappear. Fit the roof details, the grab handles and the aerials only after the finish is done, so that you do not break them off while masking.
