Crosses and national insignia for the A7V Sturmpanzerwagen in the Krupp version, 1:35 capture the small markings of the first German tank without using decals.
Responsibility details are not available.
Crosses and other small markings for the heaviest German novelty of the First World War come this time without camouflage shapes. The set aims at small elements: at the national crosses and insignia, which were placed on the armored body of the A7V by hand and a little differently on every machine.
The Sturmpanzerwagen came about as a hurried answer to the British tanks and went into action from the spring of 1918. The tall riveted body on the chassis of an artillery tractor carried a crew of eighteen, a front-mounted gun and a row of machine guns. The version designated after the Krupp firm is recognized by the rendering of the armor plates of the superstructure. At Villers-Bretonneux the A7V clashed with British tanks in the first engagement of armor against armor in history.
Small shapes are not lifted off in large pieces but element by element, ideally with tweezers with flat jaws. On a riveted surface a mask will not seat by itself - press it down with a cotton swab over every rivet head and only then spray. Apply the paint almost dry and in several misted passes; a single heavy layer will creep under the edge and the cross will lose its sharp corner.
The films are supplied on their own, without paints and without a model of the vehicle.
