An injected plastic kit of the Chinese ZBL-09 Snow Leopard wheeled armored vehicle in 1:35 scale. The set contains more than two hundred parts, a slide-molded lower and upper hull and turret, entry doors buildable in the open or the closed position, photo-etched metal parts and rubber tires. The model is built by the classic technique of gluing plastic.
The ZBL-09, nicknamed the Snow Leopard, is a modern Chinese wheeled infantry fighting vehicle in an eight-wheel configuration. It is fitted with a two-man turret with a 30 mm cannon. The vehicle forms the backbone of the mechanized and rapidly deployable units of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
On a wheeled armored vehicle, pay attention to seating the axles and wheels correctly so that the vehicle stands level. Liquid cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush are recommended. Degrease the rubber tires before painting. For a faithful look, washes and pigments suggesting dust and mud on the running gear work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
