A set of metal (white metal) assemblable track links for the model of the Pz.Kpfw 35(t) tank in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Friulmodel. A detail accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of metal track links for the light tank Pz.Kpfw 35(t) Skoda. It is not a model but a detail accessory for the model of the Pz.Kpfw 35(t) tank in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Friulmodel (Hungary).
The set brings individual metal track links in white metal, which are laid out and joined with wire pins, so that the track stays workable once assembled. Thanks to the weight of the metal the track settles naturally and sags between the road wheels, which looks more faithful than the vinyl tracks of the base kit. The links have a crisp casting and finer worked-out detail.
The Pz.Kpfw 35(t) was a light tank of Czechoslovak manufacture (Skoda, originally designated LT vz. 35), used in the Second World War above all by Germany and its allies. It was proven and reliable in the early stage of the war.
Clean the flash and the casting gate remains carefully off the links, so that they fit together smoothly. It is practical to paint the assembled track separately from the model: lay on a primer suited to metal, a dark metallic base shade and then weathering with washes and pigments, which stand out on the running gear. On a light tank the fine detail of the links shows well, so clean the track up carefully and paint it evenly. A sag on the upper run gives the model a realistic look.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The vehicle itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
