A plastic kit of the German Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf.B light tank in 1:35 scale from the Dragon brand. The kit stands out through the fully rendered interior of the fighting compartment and the turret and through photo-etched parts, which make it possible to build a model with the hatches open and the inside exposed.
The Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf.B was a German light tank of the 1930s. Against the Ausf.A version it was given a longer hull, an added road wheel and a more powerful engine. It was armed with a pair of machine guns, and although it was primarily a training and light fighting machine, it saw action in the Spanish Civil War and in the early campaigns of World War II, where it was already falling behind against stronger opponents.
Given the interior, it is advisable to paint and assemble the inside before you close the hull and the turret. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the running gear and the tracks before the final assembly. You will bring the inside to life with washes and a dry brush, and on the outer armor dust and mud effects will come out well with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
