Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German medium tank Pz.Kpfw.IV in the Ausf.J version, and specifically in its late (final) production form, in 1:35 scale. The model captures the wartime simplifications typical of the end of production of this type and is aimed at modelers interested in German armor of the Second World War.
The Pz.Kpfw.IV was the most widely used German medium tank of the Second World War, and in the Ausf.J version it represented the last and most heavily simplified production variant, built in the final phase of the war. To save effort and simplify manufacture, this version dropped the powered turret traverse (the crew worked it by hand) and gained an auxiliary fuel tank, which increased the range on roads. The main armament was a long-barreled 75 mm gun, effective against most Allied tanks. Late vehicles were marked by further simplifications of the hull, the exhaust and the running gear.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull first, while the access is still good. Use a liquid modeling cement on the plastic, even the surface out with primer and apply the camouflage with an airbrush. Late German vehicles come into their own with the layering of colors, panel toning and above all with mud and dust effects on the suspension, which you create with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
