It is not a vehicle kit but a set of detail parts which, according to the name of the product, offers three versions of the rear fuel cap including the washer. You will use it on the Shot Kal and on the heavy armored personnel carriers Nagmashot and Nagmachon, that is on machines based on the Centurion chassis.
A fuel cap is one of those elements that are small on the real vehicle but impossible to miss from close up. It has a domed shape, the outline of the closure and a washer under the rim, which injected plastic can manage only with smoothed-off edges. A resin casting holds the crisp edge and the fine texture, and the versions offered make it possible to match the detail with a particular variant and period of the vehicle.
The parts are small, so work over a tray and never over a carpet. Separate them from the casting block with a scalpel with a fresh blade or a fine saw, and trim them only after cleaning, not before. Carefully level the seat for the cap on the plastic hull, so that the accessory seats in one plane. It is glued with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue applied with a pin; the gel version runs into the surroundings less. Apply a primer before painting. The area around the cap is typically dirtied by spilled fuel and by scuffing from boots, so a darker wash and fine glossy stains in the places of contact suggest themselves.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
