A set of resin rivets in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel. The figure in the name gives the diameter of the rivet head, here 0.6 mm. It is not a kit but a detail accessory for fitting out a model that is already built, a conversion or a part made by hand.
The 0.6 mm size is the most universal in the range. In 1:35 scale it corresponds to roughly twenty-one millimeters on the real machine, which is a size typical of the riveted joints of bodies, cabs, superstructures, fuel tanks, toolboxes and lighter structures. If you are only starting to add rivets and do not know which size to buy first, this one is usually the best compromise between visibility and fineness.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water, so that the mold release agent is removed. Work over a surface with a raised edge and with fine tweezers. Mark the spacing out beforehand with a scribed line or masking tape. Pick a drop of cyanoacrylate glue up with a toothpick and apply it to the model, never straight onto the rivet. Once dry, even the surface out with a primer, otherwise the different material will show through in the shade of the paint. When weathering, use a darker wash around the heads and at the end go over the surface lightly with a dry brush, so that the rivet heads light up.
The set is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
