A set of resin rivets in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel. The figure in the name gives the diameter of the rivet head, here 0.7 mm. It is a detail accessory, not a kit. A model that is already built, a conversion or a part made of plastic section is fitted out with it.
A diameter of 0.7 mm corresponds in 1:35 scale to roughly twenty-five millimeters in reality. That is the size of the rivets you will find on thicker plate and on load-bearing structures: on the armor plates of older vehicles, on frames, on bridge and crane elements, on boilers, cars and industrial installations in a diorama. The head is large enough to read clearly even after several coats of paint and weathering have been applied.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water. Work with tweezers over a surface with a raised edge. With larger rivets the regularity of the gaps matters even more than with the fine sizes, so mark the spacing out beforehand with a scribed line or a template of masking tape. Pick a drop of cyanoacrylate glue up with a toothpick and apply it to the model. Even the surface out with a primer once it is dry. When painting, let a dark wash run around the heads and draw the tops of the heads out lightly with a dry brush, so that the structure reads as metal.
The set is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
