A set of individual links of a workable track of the RMSh type in the late form, 1:35 scale, for models of the T-55, T-62 and T-72 tanks.
Responsibility details are not available.
On a model of a tank the track is one of the first things the eye catches, and at the same time a place where the part supplied in a kit often falls short. This set replaces the track with individual links, which assemble into a workable whole. The finished track can then be led exactly along the running gear, it hugs the wheels and sags naturally above the upper run, instead of holding a shape pressed into a rubber band.
The abbreviation RMSh denotes the Soviet type of track with a rubber-bushed joint, which appeared on these tanks in later production and lasted in service for decades. The set aims at the late form and, according to the name, is intended for models of the T-55, T-62 and T-72 types in 1:35 scale.
First sort the links out calmly and clean them of excess material and traces of manufacture. Assemble them in shorter runs and keep trying them on the model to see whether the length and the pitch fit the drive sprocket. The material of the parts, the way the links are joined and the recommended glue are given by the manufacturer's instructions; follow them, because with workable tracks what decides the outcome is how much play is left in the joint. Fit the track only once the running gear is finished, and paint it separately from the hull, which you would otherwise be unable to reach underneath it.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
