PANZER ART 1:35 replacement wheels for the M26 Dragon Wagon are a resin aftermarket accessory – a set of faithfully cast road wheels for models of the American heavy tractor M26.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin aftermarket accessory, not a model on its own. The set contains eleven cast parts – complete road wheels with a faithful tread pattern, which replace the plastic pieces from the box and move the level of detail of a model of the American heavy tractor forward. The castings have a crisp rendering of the tread and well-worked detail on the rims.
The M26 Dragon Wagon was an American heavy tractor of the Second World War period. Together with a semitrailer it made up a rig intended for carrying and recovering tanks. Its massive pneumatic wheels carried both the armored tractor unit and a load of tens of tons.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut the casting blocks away and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The tires can be brought out with shades of dust and mud; a slight flattening where they meet the road also looks natural.
The aftermarket accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
