This is NOT a model of a vehicle but an add-on detail set. These are resin wheels from the South Korean maker DEF Model in 1:35 scale for the South Korean K511 truck. The wheels are made as sagged, that is, with a realistic deformation of the tire under the weight of the vehicle, which makes a standing vehicle on a diorama more convincing.
The set replaces the plastic wheels of the base model with cast resin parts that have a finer tread pattern and a natural flattening where they meet the road. The aim is to remove the impression that the vehicle is floating and to give it a settled, loaded look.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean up the contact faces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting, build the tires up in dark gray shades rather than pure black, and finish the tread and the sidewalls with dust pigments and dried mud. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
