BMP-3 - a Russian infantry fighting vehicle 1:35 (Trumpeter) is a plastic kit of a modern tracked armored vehicle with powerful combined armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter captures the Russian BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle. The richly broken-down kit contains parts on a number of sprues, clear parts, a photo-etched part and tracks. The model builds the low streamlined hull with a turret carrying combined armament and a drivetrain unusually arranged at the rear.
The BMP-3 is a modern Russian, originally Soviet, infantry fighting vehicle developed from the second half of the 1970s and taken into service in 1987. In the turret it carries an unusual combination: a 100 mm weapon able to launch guided missiles as well, a coaxial 30 mm automatic cannon and a machine gun. The vehicle floats, it is amphibious and it still serves in a number of armies today. It is the successor to the BMP-1 and BMP-2 types.
Assemble the chassis and the running gear with the tracks first, then the hull and the turret. Use a thin modeling cement on the plastic and glue the clear parts with a glue for glazing. Spray the surface with a primer and apply the paints, modern Russian greens or a desert scheme, with an airbrush. Bring out the engraved detail with a dark wash, the edges with a dry brush and the dust and mud on the chassis with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
