A plastic kit of the modern Russian main battle tank T-80BVM in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. This edition depicts the naval infantry version. The richly detailed kit offers a turret and lower hull produced with multi-part tooling, individual track links, and photo-etched parts for fine detail.
The T-80BVM is an upgraded version of the gas-turbine-powered T-80 tank. It was publicly unveiled in 2017. The vehicle is fitted with advanced Relikt explosive reactive armor, rubber side skirts with built-in armor plates, and slat armor protecting the rear of the hull and turret against shaped-charge munitions.
Use thin liquid cement on the plastic. Finish the running gear and assemble the individual track links first, and only then close up the hull. Spray a primer and the base camouflage with an airbrush; build up weathering with washes and pigments that highlight dust, mud and wear on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
