A plastic kit of the Russian 76.2 mm divisional gun model 1902, known by the nickname the three-incher.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Russian 76.2 mm divisional gun model 1902 was among the most widespread guns of its day. Its Russian nickname Trekhdyujmovka means the three-incher: 76.2 mm is exactly three inches. The weapon went through the First World War and the fighting that followed and became the basis from which the later Soviet upgrades of the same barrel assembly grew.
This is an unglued and unpainted plastic kit in 1:35 scale. An artillery kit tends to be more demanding on small parts than a vehicle of comparable size, because the carriage, the gun shield and the wheels have thin profiles and have to fit together exactly. The exact number of parts and the extent of the package are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the small parts off with a sharp knife a little away from the part and sand the remainder; the thin profiles of the carriage bend easily, so handle them with tweezers. Set the assembly up dry first and check that the gun stands evenly on all its bearing points, and only then fix the joints. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the paint manufacturer's directions on the bottle; the intricate surface of an artillery carriage stands out once accented with a dark glaze.
The set is for modelers who build artillery of the first half of the twentieth century, and it also suits a scene with infantry or a prime mover in the same scale. Paints, glue and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
