A plastic kit of the Samochod M.M.G.S. scout vehicle in 1:35 scale from RPM: an armored Ford Model T of the Motor Machine Gun Service of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker RPM. The real subject is the light scout and machine gun vehicle on the Ford Model T chassis of the kind used by the Motor Machine Gun Service in the First World War. The model is supplied to be glued and painted.
The Motor Machine Gun Service came about in the First World War as a mobile and quick alternative to horse-mounted patrols. The light and reliable Ford Model T chassis proved itself in difficult terrain, including the desert and semi-desert regions of the Middle East and North Africa. The vehicles carried a machine gun and served for reconnaissance, patrol work and the protection of convoys. Their low weight let them cross soft ground where heavier armored cars bogged down.
Clean the parts up first and fit them together dry. Glue with thin cement for plastic, and add the fine fittings and armament only once the basic build is done. We recommend a base of primer, an airbrush for the base shade and final emphasis on the detail with a wash, dry-brushing and dust pigments for a faithful period look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
