This is a resin accessory in 1:35 scale, not a model on its own. The set holds parts of sand armor and wooden screens, with which a model of the M48 medium tank is completed for better protection and an authentic combat look.
The M48 Patton was an American medium tank of the 1950s and 1960s, in service with a number of armies around the world. Crews in the field often added sandbags, improvised armor plates and wooden screens as extra protection against shaped-charge rounds and splinters. These modifications give a model the typical look of a vehicle in active service.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wood comes out well with glazes and drybrushing, while sandbags benefit from earthy shades, a wash and dust pigments.
The accessory is made of resin and is supplied unpainted and without the base model. Glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
