This is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory that replaces the turret from the base kit and captures the canvas protecting the open fighting compartment faithfully.
The Sd.Kfz 222 was a German light armored reconnaissance car of the Second World War, armed with a 20 mm automatic cannon and a machine gun in an open turret. The turret was often covered with a wire-mesh frame against grenades and with a canvas against the weather; reconnaissance units committed it on every front.
Wash the part free of release agent, cut off the casting block and fit it to the hull. Glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. The casting of the canvas comes out well with colored filters and a light lift of the folds.
