PANZER ART engine deck with cover for the Sd.Kfz 9 FAMO 1:35 is a resin accessory for the covered engine compartment of the heavy tractor. This is a detail accessory for the base kit, not a vehicle model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory represents the engine deck with a canvas cover thrown over it for the German Sd.Kfz 9 FAMO heavy half-track tractor in 1:35 scale. The set is intended for more advanced modelers as a more faithful replacement for the parts of the base kit.
The Sd.Kfz 9, nicknamed FAMO, was the heaviest German half-track tractor of the Second World War. It served to recover and tow tanks, to carry heavy materiel and as a chassis for anti-aircraft guns. Canvas covers over the engine compartment protected the machinery in field conditions.
Wash the mold release agent off the part and cut off the casting block. Bond the cover with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fabric folds of the cover come out well once painted with an airbrush and brought up with a wash and dry pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
