Tamiya 1:35 Sd.Kfz.166 Sturmpanzer IV Brummbär, late production is a plastic kit of the German assault vehicle of the Second World War on the Panzer IV chassis.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the heavy assault vehicle Sd.Kfz.166 Sturmpanzer IV, nicknamed Brummbär, in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The model represents the late production configuration with a reworked front superstructure and a front machine gun position. The box holds injection-molded plastic parts; for the exact contents follow the manufacturer's information.
The Brummbär was a German tracked assault vehicle of the Second World War, built on the chassis of the Panzer IV tank. In its armored superstructure it carried a short 15 cm howitzer intended to destroy fortifications and support infantry in city fighting. The late production series differed from the earlier ones in details of the superstructure and in the added front machine gun.
On an armored vehicle we recommend finishing the running gear and the hull details before closing up the superstructure. Glue the parts with cement for plastic. For a faithful look, an airbrush suits the base shade, followed by washes and pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
