A plastic kit of the German Sd.Kfz.251/1 half-track armored personnel carrier in the Ausf.C version, in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. The injection-molded plastic kit is supplemented, among other things, by turned brass parts (the rods of the aiming markers on the fenders).
The Sd.Kfz.251 was a German half-track armored personnel carrier produced by Hanomag and derived from the unarmored Sd.Kfz.11 prime mover. It served to carry Panzergrenadiers into battle. The Ausf.C version was marked by a reworked, simplified front armor housing and was built during the Second World War.
It is best to paint and finish the interior of the fighting compartment before closing the hull. Use thin cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush. Mud and dust effects on the running gear and the lower areas are refined with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
