This resin detail set from Eduard replaces and completes the internal radio equipment of the Sd.Kfz.251/1 Ausf.C half-track carrier. The parts are produced by direct 3D printing with high sharpness of detail and are printed in the dark yellow shade, which matches the basic German field color. The set is an aftermarket accessory for models of this vehicle in 1:35 scale; it is not a kit in its own right.
Radio sets belonged to the typical equipment of command and signals half-tracks. The finely printed instrument cases, controls and brackets lift the appearance of the open fighting compartment markedly, and on this type of vehicle that compartment is clearly visible.
Carefully separate the parts from the print supports, clean them up and degrease them before gluing. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Use respiratory protection while sanding. Even though the parts are printed in a color shade, we recommend unifying the surface with a base coat and then picking the detail out with a wash and dry brushing.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model of the vehicle. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
