This injection-molded plastic kit from Dragon captures the German Sd.Kfz.251/23 Ausf.D armored half-track carrier in its reconnaissance version in 1:35 scale. The box contains EZ Track tracks for easy assembly and crew figures. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Sd.Kfz.251 was the standard German armored half-track carrier of the Second World War, built in many specialized versions. The 251/23 variant carried a reconnaissance turret with a cannon and was intended for reconnaissance units of the late phase of the war. The Ausf.D version had a simplified welded hull.
Finish the running gear and the interior of the hull first, and only then close up the superstructure. The EZ Track tracks make fitting the track runs easier. Glue the plastic with thin cement, apply a primer and build the weathering up with washes and with pigments for dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
