An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet 2S7M heavy self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model carries over the massive barrel, the open firing platform and the tracked chassis; for the exact package contents and the number of parts, go by the enclosed instructions.
The 2S7 Pion and its modernized version, the 2S7M Malka, are Soviet heavy self-propelled guns of 203 mm caliber. The weapon is mounted on the rear part of a hull based on the chassis of a heavy tank. The system is among the most powerful artillery systems in its class and is meant to destroy targets at long range. The 2S7M version brought improvements in equipment and in service use.
Assemble and fine-tune the running gear and the tracks before closing the hull. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, sand the joints down and treat the surface with primer. Lay the finish on with an airbrush, fine-tune the long barrel and the mechanism with a dry brush, and apply mud and dust pigments to the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
