A resin set of replacement wheels with snow chains from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog for models of the Staghound armored car in 1:35 scale. The wheels with the chains fitted replace the parts from the basic kit and make it possible to set a vehicle into winter scenery with realistic rendering of the tread pattern and of the chains.
The Staghound was an American heavy armored car used in the Second World War above all by British and Allied units. Snow chains on the wheels improved the going in winter and muddy conditions.
Wash the parts to get rid of the remains of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and sand them back with your airways protected. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Resin wheels tend to be perfectly round compared with plastic ones; once painted, the tread pattern and the chains stand out after a wash and pigments have been applied.
This is an accessory resin set of wheels, not a complete model of a vehicle. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
