A resin detail set in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART representing the strengthened gun mantlet of the German Tiger I heavy tank, faithfully carrying a cast mark from the foundry on its surface. This is not a tank model but a detail accessory that replaces the original mantlet part.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War armed with an 88 mm gun. The cast mantlet protected the gun cradle and the sight; on the real castings, foundry marks and surface irregularities were clearly visible.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces, using respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray a primer on before painting; bring up the rough cast surface and the cast mark with pigments and a light wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Using it requires the matching base kit of the Tiger I tank.
