The T-14 Armata is a new-generation Russian main battle tank built on the universal tracked Armata platform. Its most striking feature is the fully automated unmanned turret: the crew sits separately in an armored capsule in the front of the hull, which is meant to raise their chances of survival. The tank carries a 125 mm smoothbore gun with an autoloader and modern protection systems. It was first shown publicly at a military parade in Moscow and has remained one of the most closely watched modern armored vehicles ever since. The kit was created in cooperation with the maker of the real vehicle, so the shapes and details match the actual machine.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the tracks before finishing the hull. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and attach the clear parts with adhesive for glazing. Modern Russian tanks usually wear uniform or three-color camouflage; after the base coat and the clear coat under the decals, pick out the detail with a subtle wash and add restrained dust with pigments, as modern vehicles usually look less dirty than Second World War hardware.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
