An injection-molded plastic kit of the American T30/34 heavy tank in 1:35 scale from Takom. The kit allows the T30 or the T34 variant to be built and offers richly broken-down parts for the hull, the turret and the running gear. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The T30 and the T34 were American experimental heavy tanks developed at the close of the Second World War as an answer to the heavy German tanks. They were based on the design of the T29 heavy tank and carried large-caliber armament. They never reached series production and remained at the prototype and trials stage.
First assemble and, if need be, glue the running gear and the interior elements before you close up the hull. Glue with liquid cement for plastic and clean up the joints. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush works well for an even coat. You will create the patina with washes and with dust or mud pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
