A set of workable tracks for the early standard of the Tiger I tank in 1:35 scale. The links are made by 3D printing and stay articulated once assembled.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War and the track was among its most conspicuous parts. The road wheels were interleaved in several rows, so the track bore on them along its whole length and the weight of the machine was spread out on soft ground. The early production standard differed from later machines in a number of details, which is why separate track sets are made for it.
A set of tracks for a model of the Tiger I in 1:35 scale, made by 3D printing. The links are individual and once assembled according to the instructions they stay articulated, so the track can be seated around the wheels naturally instead of being bent by force. The number of links and the kit the set is built for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The printed parts are held on thin supports. Separate them with a sharp blade or fine nippers a little way from the part and then sand the remainder away carefully, so that the link does not get in the way anywhere during assembly. Printed resin is more brittle than plastic, so handle the links in your fingers rather than in tweezers squeezed to the limit. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts to free them of print resin residue, and apply a base color. Assemble the track link by link according to the instructions, try laying it on the wheels dry and only then secure the joints. Do the dusting and mudding at the very end, as the lower run of the track will take more dirt than the upper one.
The tank kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
