The PANZER ART 1:35 Tiger I Late gun mantlet with cast marks is a resin accessory: the gun mantlet of the late Tiger I with suggested traces of casting. It is not a model but a detail part.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail part in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It represents the gun mantlet for the late production of the Tiger I heavy tank, faithfully rendered including the cast traces and marks from the production mold that are characteristic of cast parts. It is a replacement detail part, not a model of the whole tank.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War armed with an 88 mm gun. The late production batches differed from the early ones in a number of details; a faithful rendering of the cast gun mantlet with its casting relief is among the features that raise the realism of a model markedly.
Wash the resin part free of release agent, cut off the casting block and put it in place of the original plastic mantlet. It is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The cast relief comes out once a primer has been laid on and weathering with washes, filters, a dry brush and pigments has followed.
This is an accessory part, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
