About product

Hobby Boss 1:35 tracks for the M2/M3, LVTP7 and MLRS (early type) - set

A set of plastic link tracks in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss, intended for the American tracked vehicles M2/M3 Bradley, the LVTP7 amphibious carrier and the MLRS rocket launcher in the early type. It is not a vehicle model but an upgrade set of tracks that replaces the tracks from the original kit. The tracks are made up of individual links and are workable, so once assembled they follow the running gear naturally.

What the set contains and what it is for

The package consists of production-molded individual track links with guide horns, from which the left and right runs are assembled. The set serves as a replacement for the factory tracks on kits of the vehicles named in the early type and brings sharper detail and a realistic sag compared with the tracks from the original box.

Fitting tips

Clean the flash off the links and glue them with cement for plastic; let the joints set so that they stay flexible. Shape the assembled run onto the running gear before it dries, so that a natural sag is formed. Painting and weathering are easier done off the model.

Who the set is for

  • For modelers building the M2/M3 Bradley, the LVTP7 or the MLRS in the early type.
  • For those who want workable tracks with a realistic sag.
  • For builders not satisfied with the tracks from the original kit.

This is an accessory track set, not a complete model. The vehicle kit, glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.

FAQ

No. It is a set of replacement link tracks. The vehicle model itself is not included in the package - the tracks are fitted to an existing kit.

The American tracked vehicles M2/M3 Bradley, the LVTP7 amphibious carrier and the MLRS rocket launcher in the early type, 1:35 scale.

Yes, as long as you do not glue the joints solid. The links are glued so that the run stays flexible and the sag can be shaped over the running gear.
