A resin set of accessories and cargo for bringing a plastic model of the American M8 Greyhound light armored car to life. It is not a model of the vehicle but a set of castings that adds realistic cargo, crew kit, crates and canvas to the hull and the fenders. The castings come from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog, known for the quality of its resin castings.
The M8 Greyhound was a six-wheeled reconnaissance armored car of the US Army, widely used in the Second World War in Europe and elsewhere. The turret of the car carried a 37 mm gun. The open turret and the fenders were routinely loaded down by crews with personal kit.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts in lukewarm soapy water. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once primed, an airbrush works well for the base and washes or pigments for the mud and dust effects.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model of the vehicle itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
