The M24 Chaffee was an American light tank from the end of the Second World War with a 75mm gun and a low silhouette. It stayed in service into the postwar period. The rubber-and-metal T85E1 tracks are one of its characteristic features; the late variant differs in the shape and segmentation of the links.
Clean up the links, assemble them around the drive sprocket and the idler wheel and let them take on a natural sag. Glue them with plastic cement. Set the metal running surfaces apart from the rubber blocks with color, bring out the detail with a wash and add dust pigments.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
