An injection-molded plastic kit of the wheeled light armored recovery vehicle LAV-R of the US Marine Corps in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model captures the eight-wheeled vehicle fitted with a recovery crane and a winch. The crane boom can be built in the stowed or in the working position.
The LAV-R is the recovery version of the family of light armored wheeled LAV vehicles used by the US Marine Corps. It serves to recover, tow and repair damaged or overturned LAV vehicles directly in the field. Thanks to drive to all wheels it offers high mobility across country in any weather and at night and is an inseparable part of the support of armored units.
The model contains flexible tires and a number of small equipment parts — assemble patiently according to the instructions. The crane boom can be built in the position you choose, which allows a dynamic treatment. The vehicle comes out well with a matte finish from an airbrush, a wash into the detail and dust pigments on the chassis and the tires.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
