An injection-molded plastic kit of the Vickers-Armstrong Mk. F/45 light tank in 1:35 scale from Mirage Hobby. The model represents the late single-turret version armed with a 45 mm tank gun.
The Vickers-Armstrong 6-ton was a British export light tank of the interwar period which in the 1930s became one of the most widespread designs of its class and inspired a whole range of home-grown types in other countries. The late version captured by this model carried a single turret with a gun of 45 mm caliber instead of the earlier twin-turret arrangement with machine guns.
Fit the one-piece vinyl tracks only once the running gear is finished. Glue the parts with a thin cement for plastic and the tracks with a glue suitable for soft material or with cyanoacrylate. Spray the model with a primer before painting. Interwar single-color as well as multicolor schemes will stand out with fine lightening and weathering in the recesses.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
