A set of wheels with balloon tires for a model of the VW Kübelwagen in 1:35 scale, the type 1 rendition. The wheels are shaped with the flattening that comes from load.
Responsibility details are not available.
The VW Kübelwagen was a German light cross-country car of the Second World War, used as a liaison and staff vehicle on practically every battlefield. It was light and simple, but in soft ground it had to fight for its mobility. That is exactly why balloon tires appeared on it: a wide profile and low pressure spread the weight of the vehicle over a larger area, so the wheel does not sink into sand and mud as much.
This is a set of wheels with balloon tires for 1:35 scale, in the rendition designated type 1. The wheels are weighted, that is, sagged under the weight of the vehicle at the point of contact with the road, which is noticeable at once on a finished model. The number of pieces and whether a spare wheel is included are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging.
A wheel set is supplied. The model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Use cyanoacrylate glue to fix them, as it holds even on materials that cement for polystyrene does not grip.
