The second variant of flat tires for the VW Schwimmwagen 1:35 suits anywhere the vehicle is to look long out of service. The shape of the collapse differs from the other sets in the range.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second form of underinflated rubber for the floating VW. The sidewall is pressed in somewhere other than on the one, the bottom spreads out to the sides and the disc stays bare. The set is intended for plastic builds in 1:35 size.
On firm ground it was a surprisingly nimble machine: a short wheelbase, small wheels and a weight of barely around a thousand kilograms made it a vehicle that squeezed along a forest path and a muddy country track alike. The price paid was low speed and miserable comfort for the crew. The front axle was engaged only for the heaviest ground, and otherwise the vehicle ran on the rear wheels alone. Thin tires suffered on stones, on rubble and on wire, so a puncture was an ordinary part of drivers' memories and the spare wheel traveled on the bow.
A collapsed surface calls for a different approach from a smooth tire: dust and mud lodge in the folds and the crest stays darker. It pays to work with a matte layer, on which powder or dry paint applied with a brush settles better. The sidewalls can be lightened so that the shape of the pressing stands out, and the patch can be completed with a thin layer of dried earth.
The base model and paints are not enclosed.
