This is not a kit of the vehicle but a 3D-printed resin set of road wheels with realistically weighted tires (the type 2 variant) for models of the German passenger car VW Type 82E Käfer in 1:35 scale. A slight flattening at the point of contact with the road gives a standing vehicle a natural impression of weight.
The VW Type 82E was a civilian-looking passenger car built on the chassis of the military Kübelwagen; it was used among others by the German administration and staff services during the Second World War. It was deployed in the rear and in the field, where worn, weighted tires completed its look.
Wash the wheels free of residues of uncured print resin, cut off the print supports and sand the mating surface. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Both the tread and the sidewall of the tire will stand out once they are primed and the weathering is gently picked out. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
