The Tiger was a German heavy tank of the Second World War, recognizable by its massive angular hull, large road wheels in an interleaved arrangement and wide combat tracks. The Sturmtiger was based on it: a casemate superstructure with a short large-caliber rocket weapon intended for destroying fortifications at short range was mounted on a modified hull. Both vehicles were built in small numbers. Accessories with the what if designation work with the idea of how such machines would look with later or never introduced modifications; it is a modeling game with the documents, not a historical reconstruction.
Small resin parts are brittle, so cut them out of the casting blocks with a sharp knife resting on a surface, not with nippers. Wash them in lukewarm soapy water before gluing, so that the surfacer holds. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and a thicker gel version helps in adjusting the position, because it gives time for seating. Mark the placement with a pencil first and dry-fit it. Paint them together with the hull, so that the brackets do not stand out in color; a final picking out of the edges with a dry brush and a gentle wash will visually tie them to their surroundings at the end.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
