The ASLAV-25 is the Australian version of the eight-wheeled armored vehicle of the LAV II family, which derives from the American LAV-25 and from the Mowag Piranha design. The vehicle carries a 25 mm M242 Bushmaster automatic cannon in the turret and 7.62 mm MAG 58 machine guns, and reaches around 100 km/h on the road.
