A plastic kit of the 1:35 British Armoured Car Pattern 1920 Mk.I from Roden: the British wheeled armored car on a Rolls-Royce chassis.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Pattern 1920 Mk.I wheeled armored car built on a Rolls-Royce chassis. The set holds parts on several sprues, a finely rendered engine, frame and interior, a rotating turret with a machine gun and rubber tires; the model is built from individual parts and is meant for gluing and painting.
The Rolls-Royce Pattern 1920 Mk.I armored car came about by modernizing older armored cars on a proven automobile chassis. It stands out for its rotating turret with a machine gun and its sturdy body. The vehicles served British units in the interwar period and in the Second World War, among other places overseas and in the Middle Eastern theater.
The detailed engine and interior offer room for a build with the covers open, so decide on that in advance. Fit the rubber tires only after painting. An airbrush with a base coat suits the finish, with washes into the recesses and dry-brushing on the edges; fine pigments will add dusty weathering to the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
