A set of precisely cast resin parts intended for improving a plastic model of the ZiL-130 truck in 1:35 scale. It is not a standalone model but an accessory that replaces and refines selected parts of the base kit and adds detail that injection-molded plastic cannot reach.
The ZiL-130 was a Soviet medium truck built at the ZiL plant in Moscow from the 1960s. Thanks to its reliability and simple design it became one of the most widespread commercial vehicles of the Eastern Bloc and served in civilian as well as military form in a number of variants.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent residue, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with your airways protected. Glue them with cyanoacrylate; ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on resin. Lay down a primer before painting so that the paint holds well.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
