A resin set of wheels for models of the Soviet off-road truck ZiL-131 in 1:35 scale. It replaces the plastic wheels from the base kit with more faithfully cast parts with a crisp casing tread. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory.
The ZiL-131 is a Soviet 6x6 off-road truck with a load capacity of around 3.5 tons, introduced in the 1960s and used in large numbers in the army and in the civilian sector alike. Its large off-road tires are a conspicuous feature. Resin wheels tend to be cast with an indicated deflection of the tires where they meet the ground, which gives a model the impression of real weight.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin, and apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
