A resin accessory from the manufacturer PANZER ART that represents the engine section of the Soviet ZiL-157 truck covered with a canvas. The casting faithfully captures the folds and the texture of the fabric and serves as a detailed replacement for the matching part of the base kit. The accessory is meant for more advanced modelers. The castings are shaped for the kit from Trumpeter.
The ZiL-157 was a Soviet three-axle truck with all-wheel drive, series-built from the middle of the 1950s. Thanks to its high cross-country mobility it was widely used as a load carrier and as a chassis for further bodies.
Wash the mold release residue off the part, cut off the casting blocks and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The texture of the canvas cover stands out once it has been airbrushed and the folds gently brought out with a wash and a dry brush.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
