This is a modeling accessory, not a kit. The A4 sheet is made of hard plastic (HIPS) and is embossed over its whole area with one of the most widespread Zimmerit patterns in 1:35 scale. It serves as a quick and clean replacement for the hand-applied anti-magnetic paste on models of German tanks.
Zimmerit was a paste that German designers applied to armor to prevent magnetic mines from sticking. On a model it is usually imitated laboriously with putty. This sheet lets you cut out the areas you need and glue them onto the hull and the turret, which gives an even and repeatable pattern. It suits a range of German types generally (Tiger, Panther, Pz.Kpfw. IV and others).
Trace the parts from the shape of the armor, cut them out with a sharp knife and glue them on with cement for plastic; sand the edges so that they blend into the surface. The sheet shapes easily after slight warming. Before painting apply a filling primer, so that the pattern takes the paint and the later washes well.
This is an accessory for models in 1:35 scale. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
