An add-on set of engine cylinders for a model of the Zündapp KS 750 heavy motorcycle in 1:35 scale, recommended by the manufacturer for the GWH kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Zündapp KS 750 was a heavy German motorcycle with a sidecar which served the German army during the Second World War. Unlike civilian machines it had the sidecar wheel driven as well, so it coped with terrain in which an ordinary motorcycle would have been stuck. The air-cooled cylinders of its engine are not hidden under any cowling, which is why their finning is visible on a model.
Add-on parts of the engine cylinders for building a model in 1:35 scale. The manufacturer recommends the set for the GWH kit; with another kit, check the fit by a dry run before gluing. The exact number of parts is stated on the packaging and in the instructions.
Wash and degrease the parts first, otherwise the paint may not hold on them. Cut the excess material and the production marks away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so as not to touch the fine surface. Use cyanoacrylate for gluing; ordinary cement for polystyrene may not work on the material of add-on sets. Lay the paint on in thin coats, so that the finning does not get flooded, and bring out the shadow between the fins with a dark glaze. The particular procedure for preparing the parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The motorcycle kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
