The package contains a set of miniature injection-molded models of the McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II carrier fighter in 1:350 scale. These are small accessory aircraft meant for populating the decks of aircraft carrier models in the same scale, not a large standalone model. Clear canopies are included.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat supersonic fighter. The F-4J version served with the US Navy and the Marine Corps as a carrier fighter, among other things during the Vietnam War. It was distinguished by powerful engines and by the characteristic shape of the wing and the tail surfaces.
The parts are small; separate them with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic applied drop by drop. Painting with an airbrush before final assembly is the easiest; the gray and white carrier finish of the period was typical.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
