The set holds six miniature injection-molded models of the TG-2 carrier torpedo bomber in 1:350 scale. It serves as an accessory to a model of an American aircraft carrier - you can place the aircraft on the deck or in the hangar. Decals with US Navy markings are included.
The Great Lakes TG-2 was a single-engine biplane serving as a carrier torpedo and bomber aircraft of the US Navy at the beginning of the 1930s. It carried its crew in two open cockpits and represented the typical carrier strike machine of its day.
The struts and the wires of the biplane are very fine, so work with tweezers and liquid cement for plastic. For the period finish, gloss yellow upper wing surfaces and the colored fuselage bands of American carrier service work well. The models can also be painted while on the sprue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
